SNAPCHAT LAUNCHES A NEW AD CREATION TOOL

Snapchat is looking at ways to lure more advertisers onto their platform by launching a simplified ad creation process, which will allow brands to build and launch their Snap ads in three simple steps.

As explained by Snapchat:

"Today we’re excited to introduce Instant Create, an easy way for advertisers to create ads in three simple steps. Just select your objective (increase web visits, app installs, or app visits), enter your business website and finalize your targeting. Then you're ready to publish! Instant Create provides advertisers with limited resources a way to quickly get started in reaching a highly engaged audience to grow their business with Snapchat."

Instant Create aims to address the issue of getting high-quality Snap ads onto the platform, as Snapchat users have not been welcoming to ads within their streams. Instant Create is simplifying the targeting process as well as providing templates based on the top Snap ad formats.

It is quite easy to create an ad, and it works as follows:

In the Snapchat Ad Manager, you select your Ad account from the dropdown in the top right corner. Then you select 'Create Ads' and 'Instant Create'.

You then select the goal of your ad you are creating (Website Visits, App Installs or App Visits) and enter the relevant information. For example, if you would like people to visit your website, you would enter the URL you want to direct traffic to:

The checkbox here is to import images from your website for use in your ad, you can either add visuals from your page or you can opt to upload a new image, or you can even use images from you Snap media library.

You then go ahead by designing your ad on Snap's templates, and you can even select any template you wish, have a look at the image below...

After choosing your template, you can fill out your demographic and location targeting, input your budget, the duration you want the ad to run, and the simply hit 'Publish'.

It is a basic three-step implementation, there are a couple of additional elements within each step, but the process is super easy to follow. Go on then, give it a go!
